Emergency Department Overview- Total ED Beds: 8
- Average Daily Volume: 45 patients per day
- Hospital Admissions from ED: 80%
- ED Patients Admitted Daily: 6%
- ED Patients Transferred Daily: 6%
- Fast Track: No
- ED Physician Group Size: 10 physicians
- Trauma Designation: Critical Access Hospital
- Patient Population: Pediatric through Adult (skews older/geriatric)
Facility Resources:
24/7 Radiology
24/7 Laboratory
Blood Bank (AABB Certified)
24/7 OR Availability
24/7 Anesthesia
Surgical Services: General Surgery
Clinical Responsibilities
- APP will not work autonomously
- Supervising physician present during assignment
- APP will not be expected to respond to house codes (physician only)
- ED staff respond to house codes
- EKG interpretations performed by provider
- ED responsible for monitoring/supervising paramedics via radio
- Deliveries go directly to Labor & Delivery

Requirement description : Submission Requirements
- Must be board Certified NCCPA (PA) or AANP (NP) - REQUIRED
- ACLS - REQUIRED
- Must have 2 years experience in Emergency Room (No new grad) - REQUIRED
- Active MA license - REQUIRED need prior to start.
- Self-Query NPDB (Should be pulled within the month)- REQUIRED at time of presentation.
- On-Call Physician Response Requirement (per bylaws): 30 minutes
