Must Have Skills
COBOL Strong programming knowledge (batch online)
JCL (Job Control Language) Writing debugging scheduling jobs
DB2 SQL queries stored procedures performance tuning
VSAM File handling (KSDS ESDS RRDS)
CICS Online transaction processing
IMS DB / IMS DC Database & transaction management (if project uses IMS)
EXX scripting
MQ Series / WebSphere MQ
API or integration exposure (REST SOAP via middleware)
DevOps concepts for mainframe (CI/CD pipelines)
