Job Summary
You will join a product team developing and maintaining CAD-based engineering software used as the foundation for multiple professional modules. The platform supports complex geometric modelling structured workflows and advanced user interface interactions.
As a Senior QA Engineer you will play a central role in ensuring product stability functional correctness and release reliability. You will work closely with developers Product Owners and other QA professionals to maintain high quality standards across core functionalities and integrations.
Description
In this role you will take ownership of the overall test approach and ensure that software releases meet defined quality standards. Your responsibilities will include defining test strategies executing manual and automated testing activities and ensuring full traceability between requirements test cases and reported defects.
You will validate complex workflows geometric behaviours and UI logic within a desktop engineering application. The position requires a strong functional understanding of the product and the ability to analyse business requirements in depth.
You will actively participate in Agile ceremonies contribute to story refinement and support the definition of clear and testable acceptance criteria. Continuous improvement of QA processes and collaboration across teams are essential parts of the role.
Requirements
Must-have:
- Proven experience testing technically complex or advanced software systems
- Experience defining test strategies (functional integration regression)
- Hands-on experience writing and executing manual and automated test cases
- Strong defect management experience using Jira and Xray
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills
- High functional understanding and attention to detail
- Fluent English
Nice to have:
- Experience testing CAD or engineering software
- Understanding of geometric modelling parametric behaviour or visualization systems
- Experience with desktop application testing and complex UI components
- API testing experience
- Scripting knowledge (e.g. Python)
- ISTQB certification
- French language knowledge
