Job Summary
HCA FloridaLawnwoodHospital is seeking a full-timeEmergency Medicine Advanced Practice Provider(Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner) to join our Emergency Medicine Team in Fort PierceFloridaand its Free-Standing Emergency Department in Vero Beach.
QUALIFIED CANDIDATES
Must be board-certified by National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC)
Must have Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT PROFILE
Level II Trauma Center
100000 annual patient visits in Main ED and 16000 in pediatric ED
42-bed ED including 5 fast-track plus 5monitoredbeds
3 trauma bays including 1 pediatric
70 hourstotal of physician coverage (main ED and Peds ED)
60 hoursof APP coverage
26% admission rate
Comprehensive Stroke facility withbi-plane
Interventional cardiaccathfacility
Several dedicated ED glide scopes and ultrasound
24-hour inhouse Hospitalist and Intensivists
High acuity
