Job Summary
Methodist Healthcare the leading provider of cardiovascular services in South Texas is expanding and looking for a lead nurse practitioner or physician assistant to become part of our established and collaborative team in San Antonio TX.
Job details:
Manage and coordinate the healthcare of patients in collaboration with cardiologist
Achieve thorough competency in all aspects of stress testing
Documentmaintain and review patient records charts and other relevant information in the EMR system
In collaboration with leadership developnew programstooptimizeclinical care and enable APP development
Administrative time would be 20 -50% of the role

Qualified Candidates:
Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner
Minimum of 5 years of Advanced Practice Provider (APP) clinical experience
At least 3 years of leadership experience (5 years preferred) whilemaintainingan active patient care practice
Eligible for a Texas license
Masters Degree in Nursing(DNP preferred) orMasters Degree in Physician Assistant Studiesor a related discipline
Preferred experience in cardiology practice and cardiac inpatient care
Preferred in large multisite practice management
Preferred experience in managing advanced practice provider leadership or clinical practice management
