Registered Nurse (RN) ICU (Med/Surg ICU)
Location: Brooklyn New York
Shift: Night Shift 7:00 PM 8:00 AM
Duration:14-Week Contract
Local Rate: $2380.50 per Week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for a 14-week ICU assignment at a high-acuity hospital in Brooklyn NY. This is a night-shift opportunity in a fast-paced Med/Surg ICU environment. One position remains available.
Key Responsibilities
Provide specialized ICU care for critically ill patients including ventilator management
Administer conscious sedation and IV medications
Perform IV insertion and complex phlebotomy procedures
Monitor hemodynamic status and titrate continuous IV drips
Respond promptly to rapid changes in patient condition
Collaborate closely with intensivists and interdisciplinary teams on ventilator weaning and sedation protocols
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards
Requirements
Minimum 2 years of Critical Care (ICU) experience
Minimum 2 years of Conscious Sedation experience
Minimum 2 years of IV Insertion and Phlebotomy experience
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited program
Active New York RN License (NYSED Primary Source Verification required)
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
