This role is a unique hybrid between DevOps engineering and technical customer onboarding.
We are scaling rapidly and onboarding a growing number of laboratory customers worldwide. As a Customer DevOps Engineer you will ensure that our infrastructure deployment processes and integration tooling scale reliably across highly diverse lab environments.
This is not a classic support role. You will own the technical onboarding experience end-to-end: from deploying backend services to building robust integration tools and improving processes so each onboarding becomes faster cleaner and more scalable.
Own technical customer onboarding
Act as the main technical contact during the onboarding phase and ensure smooth repeatable deployments for new laboratory customers.
Deploy & operate infrastructure
Deploy backend services using GitLab CI/CD and operate customer-facing services in Docker Swarm environments.
Build integration tooling
Develop and improve Python-based integration tools to connect our platform with various laboratory and hospital systems.
Scale through documentation & automation
Translate complex technical setups into clear usable documentation and improve automation so the next onboarding is easier than the last.
Ensure reliability in production
Monitor troubleshoot and stabilize Linux-based systems used by real customers in production environments.
Strong experience with Python especially for automation and integration tasks
Hands-on experience with Docker and Docker Swarm
Solid understanding of CI/CD ideally with GitLab CI/CD
Confidence working in Linux server environments (networking permissions debugging)
Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Ownership mindset: you care about outcomes not just tasks
Nice to Have:
Experience with customer-facing technical roles
Exposure to healthcare labs or regulated environments
Familiarity with APIs and system integrations
