Job purpose
Ensure compliance with the firms policies and guidance and adherence to professional standards. Achieve business growth by developing and maintaining strong working relationships with key business decision-makers informing them of our scope of services and communicating how these services benefit their organizations. Your client responsibilities
- Accountable to attain client satisfaction metrics as reviewed in client surveys
- Secure and enhance relationships with senior client management
- Assign teams that will exceeding clients expectations in terms of perform engagement management activities including billing scheduling performance evaluations mentoring managing client expectations and identifying additional client needs
- Maintain active communication with both partners and clients to manage expectations and ensure client satisfaction. Proactively identify document and communicate any changes to the scope of work
Your people responsibilities
- Mentor staff members in their professional development and career planning.
- Provide on-the-job performance feedback and periodic performance reviews
- Identify training needs of staff members
- Live our shared cultures and values at all times and encourage your team members to do the same
Operational Excellence
- Identify and manage complex issues and maintain active communications with clients on those issues
- Manage risk to the firm by adhering to the risk management policies and procedures and ensuring significant risks are identified
- Review work in accordance with the firms policies on a timely basis and in a thorough and constructive manner
- Ensure appropriate use of tools and sources of knowledge
- Identify areas for improvement including client satisfaction process and technology
Skills
- Ability to use S&PCapital IQ and other external data sources to extract relevant valuation inputs such as peers analysis betas and multiples.
- Ability to Interrogate forecast financial data including income statements cash flow waterfalls and enterprise and equity free cash flows
- Ability to calculate discounts rates including Ke Kd and WACCs
- Ability to perform valuations using the income approach cost approach and market approach
- Key specialization in specific industries
- Ability to draft and review complete valuation reports
- Experience in performing fair and reasonable opinions
- Experience in building and auditing project finance models
Additional qualifications
- Minimum6 years experience in big 4 corporate finance teams
- CA (SA) and/or CFA
