Jack Demmer Ford is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Service Appointment Coordinator to join our team in Wayne this role you will be the primary point of contact for customers scheduling service appointments both in dealership and mobile service appointments. You will use lists to contact customers regarding recalls and recommended services generate repair orders for mobile appointments and maintain phone and text communication. Follow-ups after appointments are essential to ensure customer satisfaction. This position requires someone who enjoys communication with clients is detail oriented and can thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Schedule and confirm service appointments via phone and text for in-dealership and mobile service appointments.
- Handle inbound service calls check voicemails and return calls on service inquiries.
- Use customer lists to contact customers regarding recalls and recommended services.
- Generate repair orders for mobile appointments.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding questions appointment details and follow-ups after appointments.
- Coordinate service schedule effectively to optimize appointment scheduling and weekly workload balance for advisors and technicians.
- Maintain accurate customer records and appointment logs.
- Assist with resolving customer inquiries or issues related to service appointments.
- Support the service department with administrative tasks as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills including phone and text communication.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with scheduling software Google sheets and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus.
- Previous experience in automotive service coordination or a related field preferred but not required.
