Shift: 312s Days
Pay: $1893.60/week (plus $2200 completion bonus per contract up to $6600 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operating Room (OR) Registered Nurse (RN) to join a healthcare facility in Denver CO on a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide perioperative care for patients before during and after surgical procedures. The ideal candidate is proficient in circulating and/or scrub roles detail-oriented and committed to ensuring a safe and sterile environment for surgical patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide pre- intra- and post-operative nursing care to surgical patients.
- Prepare operating rooms by ensuring equipment instruments and supplies are available and sterile.
- Circulate during surgeries by assisting the surgical team and maintaining a sterile environment.
- Monitor patients vital signs responses to anesthesia and overall status during procedures.
- Administer prescribed medications IV fluids and assist with surgical site preparation.
- Collaborate with surgeons anesthesiologists and other interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care.
- Document all assessments interventions and surgical outcomes accurately in the medical record.
- Adhere to infection control standards safety protocols and evidence-based perioperative practices.
Qualifications
- Current and valid RN license in Colorado (or compact eligibility).
- Minimum 12 years of recent OR nursing experience in an acute care setting.
- Current certification in Basic Life Support (BLS); ACLS and CNOR preferred.
- Strong knowledge of aseptic techniques surgical procedures and perioperative nursing standards.
- Excellent communication organizational and critical thinking skills.
- Compassionate and adaptable approach to patient care.
- COVID-19 vaccine and recent tuberculosis test.
