Environmental Engineer - Industrial Monitoring Services

monitoring equipment and regulatory support services. CleanAirs Advanced Monitoring Team located

in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania supports industrial clients using cutting-edge measurement technologies

and is growing to meet increasing demand.

Position Overview

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work troubleshooting real-world

problems and learning how instrumentation systems and data work together. You will support

environmental monitoring projects while building strong technical expertise alongside experienced

engineers.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with the design configuration installation and support of advanced industrial monitoring
systems
Perform handson work with instrumentation sensors data acquisition hardware/software and
supporting communications
Analyze validate and interpret monitoring data
Support preparation of technical reports monitoring plans and training materials
Contribute to the development of new monitoring products and services
Learn and apply applicable environmental regulations
Collaborate with engineers technicians and project teams to meet project objectives

Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Engineering Science or a related technical field
0-4 years of experience
Mechanical aptitude with a curiosity to tinker
Familiarity with hand tools voltmeters or networking is a plus
Effective technical writing and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or on a team
Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Willingness for overnight travel (up to 40%) to project sites training opportunities and
conferences both in the U.S. and internationally
