The Opportunity

The Junior IT Support is responsible for providing technical support to employees of the company on various software and hardware issues by answering questions or resolving technical problems in a timely and professional manner to minimize the impact on operations.

Your key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot hardware software and network issues for users
• Escalate complex issues to IT management and technicians for timely resolution
• Install configure maintain and upgrade computer hardware software and peripherals
• Collaborate with IT staff for the development deployment and maintenance of IT projects
• Provide technical support for video conferencing telecommunication and audiovisual systems
• Maintain an inventory of all hardware and software assets
• Provide technical support and guidance to users on all company-supported software and hardware applications
• Respond and manage service requests via a ticket system email or phone
• Provide training to end-users on the use of company supported software and hardware applications

Skills and attributes for success

• Knowledge of English at intermediate level or above
• Good technical skills be customer-oriented and be able to adapt to changes quickly
• Excellent communication skills attention to detail and the ability to work under pressure
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field
• 2 year of experience in IT Support or similar roles
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Windows operating system software Active Directory SCCM etc
• Basic Networking understanding
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
