Location: Conroe TX
Job Type: Travel Contract
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days
Pay: $1724/week (plus $2000 completion bonus per contract up to $6000 after three contracts)
Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Case Management Unit in Conroe TX for a 13-week travel assignment. The RN will provide high-quality patient-centered rehabilitative care to individuals recovering from illness injury or surgery. The ideal candidate is adaptable team-oriented and dedicated to promoting each patients optimal level of independence and functional recovery.
Key Responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients admitted for inpatient rehabilitation.
Conduct thorough assessments and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.
Administer prescribed medications and monitor patient responses.
Support mobility and functional independence through safe use of assistive equipment (e.g. Sara Steady Hoyer Lift Sit-to-Stand Hover Mat Wheelchairs).
Monitor and document patient progress toward therapy and rehabilitation goals.
Communicate effectively with patients families and care team members.
Adhere to all safety infection control and hospital policies.
Float to acute care units as needed.
Qualifications
License: Current and valid RN license in Texas (or compact state eligibility).
Experience: Inpatient Rehabilitation experience preferred.
Certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS) required
