About the Role:
As an Oral Surgeon at Northern Virginia Oral Surgery Centers you will be responsible for performing a variety of surgical procedures including extractions dental implants corrective jaw surgery and the treatment of oral pathology. You will work alongside a supportive and friendly team of dental professionals who prioritize patient care and collaboration.
Responsibilities:
- Perform oral and maxillofacial surgeries such as extractions dental implants bone grafts and corrective jaw surgeries.
- Diagnose and treat conditions related to the mouth jaw and face.
- Provide pre-operative and post-operative care and consultations to patients.
- Work closely with our team of dental specialists to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain a safe and sterile surgical environment.
- Foster positive patient relationships through clear communication and exceptional care.
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (DMD).
- Completed an accredited Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery residency program.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to provide compassionate care.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and education.
- Ability to work well with a team in a fast-paced environment.
