Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 312 Nights (6:30 PM 7:00 AM)
Pay: $2224.80/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
ATC Healthcare is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Lincoln Nebraska. This role supports a high-volume acute care Med Surg unit serving medical surgical and orthopedic patient populations in a fast-paced hospital environment.
The RN will provide comprehensive bedside nursing care manage diverse patient conditions and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe high-quality care in an acute care setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct medical-surgical nursing care.
- Administer medications and treatments per provider orders.
- Manage heparin drips (only titratable drip used on unit).
- Monitor telemetry and patient status.
- Collaborate with respiratory therapy (RT available 24/7).
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Float to PCU or Burn units as needed.
- Support patient safety and quality care standards.
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska RN license (required at submission).
- Required Certification:
- BLS
- Recent Med Surg experience required.
- Strong assessment and clinical judgment skills.
- Ability to manage high patient volumes.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
