What you will be doing
- The effective execution of all maintenance and assigned projects.
- Work order approval and planning.
- Conduct trend and perform root cause failure analysis implement improvement plans for major failures and repeat breakdowns.
- Maintain problem solving A3s to reduce downtime and scrap focused on machine reliability and continuous improvement
- Maintain a safe work environment according to company safety policies.
- Monitoring and control of spare parts inventory within budget.
- Evaluate maintenance technician skill level and develop training plans to maintain skill levels according to current technology.
- Develop and direct all continuous improvement activities as related to maintenance and quality of work.
- Meet or reduce budgeted material and labor cost variances through preventative and predictive maintenance.
- Meet or exceed key performance indicators as defined by manufacturing goals.
- Perform all duties to operate all equipment all within limitation of the standard methods and procedures and in accordance with strict adherence to safety environmental quality and productivity requirements.
- Acquire knowledge of Hydros safety environmental and quality standards.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to maintain work flow or respond to emergency conditions.
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures.
- Maintains work area in a clean and orderly condition in accordance with 5 S standards.
Requires the ability to perform all duties within limitation of the standard methods and procedures and in accordance with strict adherence to HSE quality and productivity requirements
