UnityPoint Clinic is actively recruiting for Family Medicine Physician to join Family Care Partners in Bettendorf IA!

The clinical teams at the areas clinics are improving outcomes lowering the number of hospital readmissions and reducing avoidable costs associated with treating chronic conditions. The UnityPoint Clinic team is known for excellence and quality patient care putting patients at the center of their care to provide the best level of health and well-being.
- Outpatient only practice
- 1.0 FTE with 4 1/2 day work week
- Cohesive group of colleagues and supportive staff allowing for autonomy
- Experienced staff both clinical and non-clinical who know the patients and the community
- EPIC EMR
Responsibilities
- Average of 18-22 patients per day; no nights or weekends
- No inpatient responsibilities
- Hospitalist Program is responsible for serving adult and pediatric inpatients
- Telephonic outpatient call only no need to physically report to clinic/hospital
- Call shared equitably by primary care providers
- Calls are triaged through My Nurse Call Center very minimal call volume
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Established clinic with a large team to provide support
- General family medicine procedures such as joint injections skin excisions lacerations casting etc.
- Evaluates interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Patient-focused friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Excellent communication (written and verbal) analytical and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- MD or DO
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Family Medicine
- Ability to obtain and hold an unrestricted license to practice in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribeand administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the physicians field of practice
- Eligible to work in the United States (H1-B exempt)
