Job Description: Senior Technology Consultant Capital Markets (Calypso Specialist)

Job Purpose:

• Need to work as a Senior Technology Consultant in the capacity of Capital Market Calypso Implementation Specialist in Capital Market core modernisation and migration projects.
• Should exhibit deep experience in financial services during the client discussions and be able to convince the client on the solution.

Work Experience Requirements

Functional Experience

• 4 to 8 years of hands on experience in Capital Markets with strong exposure to Front to Back trade lifecycle.
• Solid understanding of:
  • Securities trading settlements confirmations reconciliation and clearing.
  • Middle office processes including trade validation enrichment allocation and reporting.
  • Regulatory reporting and compliance across capital markets.
  • Prior exposure to Calypso Implementation version upgrade or cross platform migration programs in Capital Markets.

Technical Experience

• Strong implementation experience in Calypso particularly Version 14 (preferred) across:
  • System configuration in trading static data settlement and middle office modules.
  • Workflow design and exception handling.
  • Integration with upstream and downstream systems.
• Hands on experience with:
  • Trade processing engines
  • Static and reference data frameworks
  • Interfaces messaging standards (ISO15022/20022 FIX) and APIs
• Experience working in Agile environments and contributing to functional & technical design workshops.

• Strong knowledge of financial instruments:
  • Equities Fixed Income FX Listed & OTC Derivatives Repos and Structured Products.
  • Treasury and liquidity processes
• Experience in requirements gathering gap analysis (OOTB vs. custom) and functional documentation.
• Exposure to Agile delivery models (Scrum/Kanban).
• Knowledge of databases infrastructure application servers Technical Architecture Security and Performance management.
• Experience in Cloud and CI/CD (Devops Automation environment)

Education and Experience

• MBA / MCA / BE / BTech or equivalent degree.
• 4 to 8 years of relevant experience in Capital Markets preferably within banking investment banking or financial technology domains.
