Role Details:

In this hands-on role working closely with engineers suppliers and internal teams youll deliver service maintenance installations and repairs for a wide range of technologies within the packaging industry from carton erectors to robotics including PLCs servo drives conveyors and other mechanical components. Youll work across multiple customer sites troubleshoot complex issues and ensure machinery reliability and efficiency while maintaining high customer satisfaction.

Reporting to the National Service Manager in this completely autonomous role you will:

• Spend time on projects commissioning new machinery managing obsolescence and technology upgrades / updates
• Deliver operator and maintenance training
• Interpret AutoCAD schematics and technical manuals to provide technical advice and recommend system efficiencies and improvements
• Meet customer satisfaction and Visy operational KPIs through outstanding customer service delivery

What You Will Bring:

• Current A Grade Electrical Licence
• Solid post-trade experience in field service maintenance or installation
• Strong mechanical aptitude; experience with SEW AC/DC drives pneumatics hydraulics and robotics highly regarded
• Proficiency with PLCs (Allen Bradley Siemens Omron) touchscreen interfaces and robotics programming / mods
• Experience reading and interpreting AutoCAD circuit and mechanical diagrams
