Job Summary

Job Title:BCS Part-time Instructor

Department: BCS

Reports To: BCS Coordinator

Job Classification: Non-Exempt

Location: BCS

Summary:The purpose of this position is to foster student learning through effectively teaching coursework in the assigned program area.

Job Duties:

Effectively organize prepare and teach assigned courses to students with varying backgrounds and abilities and adjust teaching techniques accordingly. Maintain a classroom environment that supports student retention and completion.
Monitors and provides frequent and specific feedback to students regarding the attainment of the learning outcomes and their progress in the course.
Work and communicate professionally with others. Perform in a manner which benefits student learning.

Education and Experience:Must have the necessary prior experience to demonstrate expertise in the field to be taught.

Abilities:Must have good human relations and communications skills.
