Job Summary
- In collaboration with the nurse educator (s) facilitates and actively instructs course content as designed by nursing practice and development and/or other professional organizations such as American Heart Association or the Emergency Nurses Association
- Utilizes principals of adult education to ensure learning by class participants. Evaluates learner understanding based upon defined criteria
- Provides remediation of learners as needed
- Completes mandatory trainings and self-learning modules as assigned
- Required Bachelors Degree Nursing
- Preferred Education and/or program development
- 1 year of relevant experience 1-year minimal clinical experience related to areas of focus Required
- Experience and/or ability to facilitate courses under the direction of the nursing practice and development team. Preferred
- LIC-Registered Nurse (RN) - STATEMI State of Michigan Upon Hire required
- CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association Specialty certification as required to facilitate the respective courses Upon Hire required
- CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association Specialty certification as required to facilitate the respective courses Upon Hire required
- CRT-Emergency Nurse Pediatric Course (ENPC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association Specialty certification as required to facilitate the respective courses Upon Hire required
- CRT-Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) - ENA Emergency Nurses Association Specialty certification as required to facilitate the respective courses Upon Hire required
- CRT-Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) - AHA American Heart Association Specialty certification as required to facilitate the respective courses Upon Hire required
