Qualifications :
- Current Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- BCLS required at time of hire
- Minimum 2-5 years recent Paediatric experience in an acute setting (e.g. Inpatient unit or Emergency Dept.) required
- PEARS and PALS certificate an asset
- NRP certification required within 6 months of hire
- Related courses in paediatric nursing preferred
- Venipuncture and I.V. therapy skills
- Demonstrated ability to work with families
- Breastfeeding certificate required an asset
- Must have good interpersonal skills and the ability to prioritize.
- Good team player.
- Satisfactory employment and attendance record.
Additional Information :
Hours: Monday to Sunday; Various rotating 12 hour shifts (Hours are subject to change based on operational needs)
Salary: $40.24 to $57.68 per hour
