Tech Lead Metrify (fmx)

As a Tech Lead you will be solving complex technical problems impacting thousands of customers. Youll be joining a brand-new team of engineers working on projects from scratch. You will collaborate closely with non-technical stakeholders and the tech team. You will be reporting directly to the CTO.  

At Metrify Tech Leads provide clear technical direction and set a high bar for will be a hands-on technical leader who drive impact through strong delivery and thoughtful architecture taking ownership of complex initiatives and influencing outcomes across multiple teams and domains.

We are looking for proactive engineers that will make the lives of our customers and Metrify itself better.    At Metrify you will:  

• Translate strategy into execution: Youll turn high-level technical direction into clear plans priorities and results closely collaborating with Product. 
• End-to-End Product Ownership: Youll build implement and own solutions end-to-end collaborating closely with the team and directly with stakeholders to design deliver and iterate product features. 
• Fullstack Architecture: Youll design and build reliable backend systems integrating and synchronizing external systems (CRM WFM Wilken) with our internal data. Youll also contribute to frontend development to ensure seamless integration across the stack. 
• Mentorship & Knowledge Sharing: Youll coach junior developers foster a culture of clean code and innovation and lead by example in technical discussions. 
• Workflow & Business Rules: Youll partner with data engineers and platform engineers to develop or integrate rule engines and automation scripts that support device or data-driven operations (e.g. self-healing auto-escalation).  
• Code Quality & Testing: Youll maintain best practices in unit testing code review and continuous integration.  
• Performance & Reliability: Youll monitor and optimize service performance and troubleshoot complex issues across multiple environments.  
• Steering for empathy and understanding: Only when we comprehend what the market needs we can create solutions that truly address underlying challenges. Ask critical questions and listen to operations craftspeople sales - there are so many stakeholders and users to get input from and balancing their needs leads to the best solutions.  

Qualifications :

You dont need to meet 100% of the qualifications to be considered we value potential curiosity and a willingness to learn: 

• You gained solid experience in software development with a focus on backend systems building distributed and high-availability services. 
• You are highly independent and an owner. You have experience owning complex technical initiatives from concept through execution 
• You are comfortable making sound technical decisions in ambiguous or evolving contexts 
• You are experienced in TypeScript/ Python or C# or youre a tech-agnostic coming from a different background. Ideally you have worked with RESTful API design service-oriented architecture and database interactions (SQL & NoSQL). 
• You have work experience with building cloud-native applications  
• Familiarity with containers (Docker) cloud platforms (AWS Azure GCP) CI/CD pipelines external APIs or event-driven architectures is nice to have. 
• You communicate clearly in English spoken and written. Knowledge of German is a plus.  
• Agile and lean values are embodied by you. People over processes. Code over documentation. Reducing waste by building minimum viable products first testing it with real users growing and maintaining solutions as requirements evolve.
