For our team in Nijmegen we are looking for an enthusiastic Maintenance Technician. The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance calibration activities line support and troubleshooting within a regulated manufacturing environment. The role contributes to equipment reliability compliance and continuous improvement while ensuring accurate documentation in the eCMMS system.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
Maintenance & Calibration
- Execute preventive and corrective maintenance and calibration in line with site schedules and procedures.
- Support the development and updating of calibration plans FMEAs and preventive maintenance strategies.
- Contribute to calibration uncertainty calculations and ensure equipment operates at optimal performance levels.
Line Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide hands-on technical support to production to ensure safe and reliable equipment performance.
- Apply structured root cause analysis to resolve equipment and process issues.
- Manage maintenance- and calibration-related non-conformances and assess quality impact of interventions.
Projects Systems & Compliance
- Support installation commissioning and validation of new or upgraded equipment.
- Drive and participate in continuous improvement and automation initiatives.
- Maintain accurate and compliant records in the eCMMS system and ensure high 5S standards in maintenance areas.
- Work in full compliance with GMP safety environmental and company policies ensuring audit readiness at all times.
The Maintenance Technician acts as a key technical partner to Engineering Production and Quality safeguarding operational continuity and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications :
- MBO 4 or above in mechanical electrical automation engineering etc.
- 3-5 years experience in maintenance and calibration area.
- 2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment and/ or medical device industry preferred.
- Fluency in English spoken and written in English required.
- Fluency in Dutch both spoken and written is mandatory.
- GMP/ ISO knowledge preferred.
- Advance technical training in area(s) of expertise preferred. Certificate electrician is preferred.
