We are looking for Lead DevOps Engineer (Tech Lead) to join Sopra Steria Polska and one of our innovative international squads located in Luxembourg and Poland. You will be as a Technical Lead responsible for driving the Platform and Tooling team within public administration. This multifaceted role requires strong ownership prioritization and leadership capabilities to structure and drive the evolution of internal platforms used across the organization.

Responsibilities:
Evaluate and introduce emerging technologies to develop and improve internal services.
Lead proof-of-concept initiatives for emerging technologies.
Establish technical standards best practices and guidelines across Platform and Tooling team experts.
Oversee the design implementation and delivery of platforms services and tools for internal teams.
Drive automation and self-service capabilities to improve internal teams productivity.
Promote SRE and GitOps practices across platform teams.
Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize features enhancements and optimizations based on the needs and strategic priorities.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams Architects and Service Owners to ensure seamless integration and delivery of services.
Build strong relationships with internal customers and gather feedback for continuous improvement.
Manage and inspire a diverse team of subject matter experts providing guidance support and mentorship.
Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture encouraging continuous learning and skill development.
Drive team performance and engagement through clear objectives constructive feedback and career development.
Drive workload prioritization and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Qualifications :
Must have requirements:
Minimum of 5 years of experience as Tech Lead with a focus on internal platforms and tooling.
Strong understanding of modern technologies and their role in large-scale public administration systems.
Proven leadership skills with experience managing and inspiring technical teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to prioritize competing demands and structure team workflows effectively in complex multi-stakeholder environment.
Container orchestration platforms (Kubernetes) and containerization technologies experience.
Cloud on-premises and hybrid cloud architectures experience.
Infrastructure as Code and automation tools (Terraform Ansible) experience.
GitOps practices and CI/CD platforms (GitLab ArgoCD Cycloid) experience.
EU citizenship.
Fluent English: B2/C1.
Being open to occasional business trips abroad and visits in our office in Katowice.
Nice to have requirements:
API design integration experience.
Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices experience.
Virtualization platforms (VMware Nutanix or similar) experience.
Infrastructure services (networking storage compute databases) experience.
Monitoring and observability solutions (Prometheus Grafana Dynatrace) experience.

Salary range:
UOP: 18 000 -22 000 PLN gross/month.
B2B: 135-180/190 PLN/h net vat.
