Location: Columbus OH
Contract Type: Travel
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 5x8 Days (MondayFriday; variable start times between 6:00am9:30am; occasional evening shift and 1 Saturday per month)
Pay: $2880/week
Completion Bonus: $2500 per contract (up to $7500 after three contracts)
Job Description
Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist needed for a PET/CT and Nuclear Medicine service line supporting both inpatient and outpatient settings. Schedule is primarily weekdays with flexible start times and optional 10-hour shifts during holiday weeks. Role includes high-volume PET/CT imaging with a strong oncology focus. First-time travelers and local candidates are accepted. Federal holidays are off. Scrubs are not provided (grey preferred). Epic charting environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform PET/CT and general nuclear medicine imaging procedures
- Handle whole-body FDG brain cardiac and neuroendocrine imaging studies
- Manage daily PET/CT caseload averaging 30 scans
- Start and maintain IV access for radiopharmaceutical administration
- Operate PET/CT scanners and related imaging equipment
- Ensure image quality and proper PACS documentation
- Support both inpatient and outpatient workflows
Qualifications
- BLS certification required
- ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification required
- State license required
- Minimum 1 year experience in Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT
- Experience with IV starts and PACS required
- Inpatient and outpatient experience required
- Epic charting experience preferred
- Must meet Ohio fingerprinting and compliance timelines
- Two professional references required (one from a manager or supervisor)
