Urban Designer I

AtPerkins&WillsLondon studiowereseeking a talented and passionate Urban Designer I with 1-3 years of experience in a professional setting to join our dynamic team.

You will support the design process under team guidancemaintaininghigh standardsand meeting project goals. Your work will involve research site analysis creatingaccuratedrawings and preparing clear design documents and revisions incorporate zoning and policy requirementsassistin urban framework planning and confidently engage in client presentations. Taking ownership of tasksyoullapply creative judgement collaborate with partners and ensure accuracy andtimelydelivery within scope and budget.

What we are looking for:

• Experience in site and design research site analytics and planning/zoning code analysis

• Skilled in concept and detailed design studies producing hand-drawn and digital sketches and deliverables

• Proficiencywith computational analysis methods

Functional knowledge of key software including:

• 2D/3D production tools: RevitRhino

• Digitalsketching and diagramming: Illustrator

• Analytical tools: ArcGIS Grasshopper

• Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint)

• Visualization tools:EnscapeVRay

• Physical modelling techniques

• Presentation tools: InDesign PowerPoint

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in urban design landscape architecture or related disciplinerequired

• LEED GA certificationrequiredwithin six months of hire

• Professional accreditation in Living Design preferred (e.g. LEED AP BREEAM AP WELL AP SITES AP Passive House Consultant ILFI Living Future Accreditation)
• Working towards professional licensure or AICP certification
