Are you looking for an opportunity to make a difference and engineer solutions that make not only the UKs energy security stronger but actively impact the way in which the world drives towards a net zero future

Our Process Engineering team work closely with our global clients to understand their problems and opportunities and imagine assess and implement innovative solutions to help them deliver energy in the safest most sustainable way possible while ensuring security of supply. As a summer placement student you will be contributing to a variety of technically challenging and exciting projects; from optimising and extending the field life of oil & gas facilities to helping clients on the net zero journey by reducing their carbon intensity developing carbon capture and storage solutions and developing low carbon energies such as hydrogen production and waste to fuel facilities. During a summer placement you would have the opportunity to support ongoing project work learning new skills and working with different experts across our global teams to gain experience as an engineer. We strongly encourage our engineers to innovate our approach to engineering studies so that we continue to deliver as efficiently and effectively to face the ever-changing challenges of the energy industry.

Key Requirements:

  • Youll be joining a team that actively encourages and fosters innovative solutions and new approaches toour clients problems. Your work could involve the following: Assisting team with ongoing projects including concept development and feasibility studies for brownfield and greenfield development projects in the Energy industry and operational support troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Perform general project support tasks including process calculations report writing and modelling
  • Development and running of process simulation models using steady state flow assurance and dynamic simulation software.
  • Participate in innovation projects to continually streamline our toolkits for delivering our assessments.
  • Supporting our external markets business development and work winning activities
  • Working towards a degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • A passion for working in a consultancy environment.
