Engineer for System Integration Tests and Analysis (d/f/m)

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Engineer for System Integration Tests and Analysis to join our team at Airbus Operations GmbH. Your tasks and responsibilities

Design develop and execute integration test campaigns for various aircraft systems and sub-systems.
Utilize **Matlab / Simulink** for the development of test benches simulation models and data analysis scripts.
Perform **Modelling & Simulation** activities to predict system behavior identify potential issues and optimize performance.
Conduct in-depth **Numerical analysis and simulation** of test data to identify root causes of failures validate system requirements and provide recommendations for design improvements.
Collaborate with design engineers software developers and other test teams to ensure seamless system integration and efficient problem resolution.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including test plans procedures reports and analysis results.
Participate in design reviews and provide expert input on testability and system integration aspects.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of test processes methodologies and tools.
Troubleshoot and debug complex system integration issues in a laboratory or flight test environment.

Desired skills and qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Aerospace Engineering Electrical Engineering Mechatronics or a related field.
Proven experience with **Matlab / Simulink** for data acquisition analysis and control system development.
Strong background in **Modelling & Simulation** of dynamic systems preferably in an aerospace context.
Expertise in **Numerical analysis and simulation** techniques including finite element analysis computational fluid dynamics or similar methods.
Familiarity with aerospace industry standards and development processes (e.g. ARP4754A DO-178C DO-254) is a plus.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
Strong communication skills (written and verbal) in English; German language skills are a plus.
Proactive attitude and ability to take initiative in a fast-paced environment.
