Veterinary Technician I/II

Technician I-High school diploma or equivalent and one year relevant experience. Appropriate college coursework or vocational/technical training may substitute at an equivalent rate for the required experience.

Technician II -Credentialed veterinary technician and VTS specialty in Diagnostic imaging or credentialed in a specific diagnostic modality.

Are you a Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or Radiologic Technologist (RT) looking to apply your imaging skills in a unique and rewarding hospital environment The University of Florida Veterinary Hospitals is seeking a motivated technician to join our Diagnostic Imaging team.
In this role you will perform high quality imaging across multiple modalities including radiography (digital portable and interventional) Fluoroscopy CT MRI ultrasound and nuclear medicine. Youll support both small and large animal services in a fast-paced teaching hospital and work closely with Radiologists Residents and other skilled technicians.

The typical schedule will be Monday through Friday 9:30am -6:00pm but the schedule may change based on hospital and patient care needs. This individual is considered essential personnel which may include reporting to work during holidays and Main Campus closures.

Non-Credentialed: $18 - $25

Credentialed: $20 - $28 Salary based on credentials and experience

- Experience with radiographic imaging
- Credentialed veterinary Technician OR Registered Radiological Technologist

This is a CARE position offering limited benefits including health insurance and paid time off. When appropriate certifications are achieved promotional opportunities to a level II title may be available. This position will also become eligible for transition into a TEAMS (staff) salary plan.
