Job Summary


Scope of Work

Under the supervision of the Integrative Medicine management team the yoga instructor leads yoga classes in individual or group settings. Works in collaboration with multi-disciplinary team to perform clinical assessments and treatment plans. Yoga will be offered on a fee for service basis in private and group sessions. This will also include classroom instruction to train future yoga instructors.

Essential Functions

  • Yoga instruction to Integrative Medicine clients. Applies general and specialized yoga techniques individually and in groups. Custom designs yoga classes based on needs age and ability.
  • Maintain proper documentation on client yoga session. Adheres to Confidentiality and Documentation policies.
  • Leads and organizes educational workshops on yoga lifestyle.
  • Classroom instruction in order to train future yoga instructors who will graduate as nationally certified RYT 200 Teachers.

Standard Qualifications

  • Required High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Substantiate 100 hours in field practicing yoga and experience in the specific application of yoga. Required
