As an Art Technician you will ensure that the Art department is fully prepared and maintained for high-quality teaching and learning. You will be responsible for preparing materials equipment and workspaces as well as supporting students and staff in practical sessions. The role also involves maintaining a safe tidy and inspiring environment that encourages creativity.
Preparing and setting up materials equipment and resources for Art lessons
Supporting teachers and students during practical sessions
Maintaining and organising Art studios storage areas and resources
Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards in all activities
Assisting with departmental administration stock management and resource ordering
Helping with displays exhibitions and creative projects within the school
