The Role
Preparing equipment materials and chemicals for practical lessons across Biology Chemistry and Physics
Supporting complex practical investigations at GCSE and A Level
Ensuring safe handling storage and disposal of chemicals in line with COSHH regulations
Maintaining laboratory equipment and managing stock levels
Assisting teaching staff during practical sessions where required
Keeping detailed compliance and safety records
Contributing to the smooth organisation of the Science department
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a Science Technician or laboratory-based role
Strong understanding of laboratory health & safety procedures
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence supporting practical work at KS4 and KS5
A proactive professional and solutions-focused approach
The ability to work independently within a structured environment
