The DT department delivers a broad curriculum including Product Design Resistant Materials and Food Technology with strong outcomes at KS4.
The Role
Preparing materials tools and equipment for practical DT lessons
Maintaining workshop machinery and ensuring health & safety compliance
Managing stock materials and ordering supplies
Supporting teachers during practical sessions and project work
Maintaining workshop organisation and safety documentation
Assisting with NEA preparation and examination practicals
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Previous experience in a workshop technical or school-based role
Strong understanding of workshop health & safety regulations
Practical skills in tools and machinery maintenance
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
A proactive and solutions-focused approach
Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
