Customer Description:
Our client is a US-based financial services company specializing in asset management.
The company is running a large-scale modernization program aimed at upgrading internal systems that were originally built over 10 years ago.
Project Description:
The project focuses on migrating legacy monolithic applications to a modern microservices-based architecture.
The team is working on building secure scalable and cloud-ready services with a strong focus on authentication authorization and API management. The developer will collaborate with engineering security and architecture teams to support the implementation of secure and reliable solutions.

Clear communication and ability to collaborate cross-functionally
Proactive attitude toward identifying risks and quality gaps
Ability to work in a fast-paced modernization program with evolving requirements
Hard Skills / Must Have:
35 years of commercial experience in QA Automation
Strong hands-on experience with Playwright and/or WebDriver
Solid understanding of regression integration and end-to-end testing strategies
Experience with API testing tools
Knowledge of CI/CD-driven test execution and automated pipelines
Understanding of accessibility standards and UI validation practices
Basic debugging skills and ability to analyze logs
Experience building and maintaining reusable and scalable test frameworks
Understanding of testing in microservices and distributed environments
Responsibilities and Tasks:
Develop maintain and execute automated UI and API test suites
Design and lead regression testing strategy and support quality governance processes
Validate UI/UX behavior responsiveness and accessibility compliance
Collaborate closely with engineering teams to analyse reproduce and resolve defects
Maintain test documentation test cases and quality metrics
Support UAT release readiness and quality gates within CI/CD pipelines
Perform testing of cloud-native deployments microservices integrations and distributed systems
Contribute to continuous improvement of test frameworks and reusable test assets
Technology Stack: Playwright WebDriver Postman REST Assured CI/CD pipelines cloud-native architecture microservices distributed systems accessibility standards UI validation tools.
