Job Summary

Position: Data BI Engineer - Finance Treasury / Capital Markets
Location: Hybrid- Oshawa (2 days remote)
Structure: Contract 12 months to start
Pay:$60.00 - $70.00 p/h inc.

We have a great new opportunity to support one of our Energy Sector clients in a contract capacity!

Deliverables

Taking initiative in creating Power BI report templates that deliver meaningful insights to key stakeholders
Designing and building a centralized SQL database for Treasury data
Streamlining Treasury reporting through macrobased automation
Prepare financial reports records regulatory/market presentation materials and support submissions to bodies such as provincial ministries and regulatory hearings for the company.

Experience Required

5 years of experience in a similar role
Solid understanding of SQL databases and Power BI (required)
Strong proficiency in Excel including advanced spreadsheeting and modelling (required)
Proficiency in Python or Visual Basic (preferred)
Strong experience performing financial modelling economic analysis and market trend evaluation to support investment and funding decisions.
