Systems Engineer IV

• Using expertise in open systems architecture principles particularly as they apply to the development and integration of secure and interoperable communication systems
• Using knowledge of DoD testing and evaluation procedures including those related to spectrum certification and interoperability testing is highly valuable
• Navigating complex organizational structures collaborate effectively with joint stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to diverse audiences

FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING

• A strong understanding of systems engineering principles
• Expertise in software development network engineering and hardware integration
• Excellent analytical problem-solving and communication skills to effectively manage complex projects collaborate with cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
• Knowledge of DoD SDRs Networks and Waveforms
• Knowledge of Radio Communication Theory
• Experience and knowledge with EW systems countermeasures and best practices

• Deep understanding of DoD systems engineering processes interoperability standards and cybersecurity requirements
• Experience working with tactical communications systems Software Defined Radios (SDRs) and joint waveforms
• Familiarity with DoD acquisition processes risk management frameworks and cybersecurity policies

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL

• Some occasional CONUS travel required
