Job Summary
Planet Farms founded in 2018 in Milan is a leading vertical farming company.
Its currently present in the main distribution chains with its line of salads and pesto.
The company is in strong development in Italy and abroad and today the Planet Farmers work at the production plant - the brand new Cirimido Plant (Como Italy) at the R&D Center on the outskirts of Milan as well as at offices in Italy (Milan) Portugal (Coimbra) the United Kingdom (London) and the Netherlands (Eindhoven).

Position Summary
Support the planning coordination and execution of projects within our vertical farming operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about sustainable agriculture and eager to grow their career in project management. The successful candidate will work closely with senior team members to ensure project goals are met on time within scope and budget.
Key Responsibilities
Project Coordination:
- Assist in the planning scheduling and monitoring of vertical farm projects from inception to completion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineers designers and agronomists to ensure alignment on project objectives.
- Track project progress and update stakeholders on key milestones and deliverables.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare and maintain project documentation including plans schedules and reports.
- Document project risks issues and changes ensuring effective communication with the project team.
- Support in generating regular status updates for internal and external stakeholders.
Resource Management:
- Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
- Assist in managing project budgets monitoring expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
Problem-Solving and Support:
- Identify potential project challenges and assist in developing solutions to address them.
- Provide hands-on support during project execution phases including site visits and inspections.
Compliance and Quality Assurance:
- Ensure that all project activities comply with company standards safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Assist in monitoring quality control processes to deliver high-quality outcomes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Educational Background: Bachelors or Masters degree in Engineering
Experience: 3 years
Technical Expertise / Certification: Familiarity with project management tools (e.g. MS Project Trello Asana) and Microsoft Office Suite.
Languages: Italian English
