International Development Manager (dwm)

HYROX The World Series of Fitness Racing is the global sport that combines running & functional fitness into one unique competition format. Founded in Germany in 2017 HYROX is now a worldwide fitness movement with events across 5 continents and tens of thousands of athletes taking part each season.

To boost our global growth we are looking for a dynamic International Development Manager (d/w/m) to join our team in Milan. You will support the Director of International Development & Strategy in moving beyond transactional market entries toward a unified scalable growth model ensuring full strategic alignment as we roll out HYROX globally.

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• International Expansion: Support the development of HYROXs global footprint by identifying strategic partners and location opportunities in new markets.
• Market Entry: Execute tailored go-to-market strategies including hiring plans team structures and rollout timelines for new regions.
• Global Compliance & Governance: Act as the primary bridge between central and local teams ensuring standardized reporting for Managing Directors (milestones risk assessment and financial updates).
• Strategic Sparring: Serve as a key partner for local Market Leads helping resolve regulatory logistical and cultural challenges.
• Financial & Legal Coordination: Support budget reconciliation scenario modeling and overhead planning. Work closely with Legal and HR to ensure compliance with local permits taxation and employment laws.
• Process Optimization: Organize global briefings prepare strategic agendas and analyze data to continuously improve international workflows and brand standards.

YOUR PROFILE

• Experience: 2 years in licensing franchising or account management (ideally within sports or mass-participation events).
• Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration or a related field.
• Analytical Skills: High proficiency in Excel budget reviews and contract analysis. Ability to craft clear professional presentations for stakeholders.
• Communication: English on C-Level (additional languages are a plus); ability to communicate efficiently with external partners and internal leadership.
• Mindset: A positive can-do attitude with the ability to work calmly under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Tech Savvy: Proficient in Word PowerPoint and the use of AI tools to optimize workflows.
• Flexibility: Willingness to travel globally and work flexible hours including weekends to support our movement.
