Job Summary

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced SAP Integration professional with strong hands on expertise in SAP BTP Cloud Integration (CPI / CI) and a solid background in SAP PI/PO. The ideal candidate is someone who has worked on traditional SAP Process Integration (PI) platforms and successfully transitioned to SAP Cloud Integration bringing a deep understanding of integration patterns migration approaches and modern cloud-based interfaces.

Key Responsibilities

Design develop and maintain integrations using SAP BTP Cloud Integration (CPI/CI).
Work on end-to-end integration scenarios involving SAP and Non SAP systems.
Lead or support migration activities from SAP PI/PO to CPI including interface redesign and optimization.
Develop iFlows mappings adapters and exception-handling mechanisms in CPI.
Analyze existing PI/PO interfaces and define transition approaches for CPI.
Implement integration best practices security standards and reusable components.
Collaborate with functional teams business stakeholders and architecture groups to deliver scalable and robust integration solutions.
Monitor troubleshoot and optimize CPI interfaces to ensure high reliability and performance.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong hands-on experience in SAP BTP Cloud Integration (CPI/CI).
Prior experience with SAP PI/PO including message mappings adapters ESR/ID objects and runtime troubleshooting.
Proven track record of moving from PI to CPI-migration projects or hybrid landscapes.
Expertise in integration patterns: REST SOAP IDoc SFTP JMS OData JSON/XML.
Understanding of SAP BTP platform services API Management (optional plus).
Knowledge of authentication methods such as OAuth Basic Auth Certificates JWT etc.
Ability to build scalable and reusable iFlows groovy scripts and error-handling frameworks.
Strong analytical communication and documentation skills.

Good to Have

Exposure to SAP API Management on BTP.
Experience with event-driven integrations (e.g. SAP Event Mesh).
Understanding of CI/CD pipelines for integration deployments.
