Job Summary

Position Overview

The Cybersecurity Engineer develops cybersecurity policies technical guidance and educational materials to strengthen healthcare sector resilience.

Key Responsibilities

Develop cybersecurity guides frameworks and documentation

Provide technical assistance to public health stakeholders

Conduct research on cybersecurity standards and emerging threats

Support development of training materials and awareness products

Analyze ransomware trends and TTPs

Level 2

Lead policy and technical documentation development

Provide advanced cybersecurity advisory services

Level 3

Serve as senior SME for cybersecurity engineering

Advise ASPR leadership on emerging risks and strategies

Represent ASPR in high-level engagements

Required Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Cybersecurity Engineering or related field

Level 1: 0 3 years

Level 2: 4 9 years

Level 3: 10 years

Experience with federal cybersecurity frameworks (NIST preferred)

Clearance

Tier 2 investigation required
