About the RoleWe are seeking a motivated Security Technician (Trainee/Apprentice) to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long term career in the security technology industry.
Working under the guidance of a Senior Security Technician you will gain practical experience in installing and configuring a range of security systems.
Key ResponsibilitiesUnder supervision you will assist with:
- Running and managing cabling for security systems
- Installing CCTV equipment
- Installing access control panels
- Configuring installed systems
- Troubleshooting and supporting maintenance of installed systems
About You: Our Ideal CandidateYou are someone who:
- Is confident using hand and power tools
- Has a genuine interest in technology and security systems
- Is eager to learn and develop practical trade skills
- Shows initiative reliability and a positive can do attitude
- Enjoys problem solving and hands on work
Essential / Desired RequirementsEssential:
- Class C Drivers Licence
- White Card
- Working at Heights certification
- Own reliable vehicle
Desired (but not essential):
- Security Licence
- Cablers Licence
- EWP (Elevated Work Platform) licence
