Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and engaging in-person tutor to work with three elementary-level students at the Grand Traverse Public Library. The students can be tutored together at the same time in a small-group setting.
Subjects Include
- Math
- Reading
- General elementary-level support
- Other basic multi-subject help as needed
Schedule Details
- Tutoring sessions held twice per week
- 2 total hours per week
- Days and times can be coordinated based on availability
Pay Details
- $18 per hour per student
- Tutor is paid for all three students during the session
Qualifications
- Experience tutoring or teaching elementary-age students
- Strong communication and classroom-management skills
- Ability to explain concepts clearly and patiently
- Dependable and professional
- Background in education or tutoring preferred (but not required)
Work Environment
- Quiet structured library setting
