Job Summary
Job Title: RN Nurse Educator
Location: New York City NY 10037
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:00 PM
Pay Rate: $70$74 per hour (W2)
Position Summary
A healthcare organization in New York City is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) Nurse Educator to support clinical education and staff development with a primary focus on Perioperative and Operating Room (OR) environments.
The Nurse Educator will leverage strong clinical expertise to support nursing staff through education training and competency development helping ensure high-quality patient care and adherence to clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities
Provide clinical education and support for nursing staff with a focus on Perioperative and OR settings
Assist with onboarding training and competency validation for nursing personnel
Support clinical best practices and evidence-based care standards
Collaborate with leadership and clinical teams to identify educational needs
Participate in education planning and documentation
Required Skills & Experience
Minimum 2 years of experience supporting Perioperative and/or Operating Room (OR) settings
Minimum 2 years of Medical-Surgical (Med/Surg) nursing experience
Solid clinical background with strong teaching and communication skills
Education
Associates Degree in Nursing (ASN/ADN) from an accredited nursing program
Certifications & Licensure
Required
Active New York State Registered Nurse (RN) license
Primary Source Verification of RN license and registration through the New York State Department of Education (NYSED)
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Preferred
Additional clinical or educator-related certifications
