Job Summary
Overview:
We are seeking a motivated R&D Executive / Sr. Executive to support the development of new paint formulations and enhancement of existing products. The role involves laboratory experimentation data analysis and cross-functional collaboration with Quality Control and Production teams to deliver innovative cost-effective and high-quality coating solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct laboratory experiments to develop and refine paint formulations
- Test raw materials and additives for suitability in product development
- Record analyze and document experimental data accurately
- Collaborate with QC and production teams for smooth scale-up of lab-developed products
- Assist in developing cost-effective and durable formulations
- Prepare technical reports and product specifications
- Stay updated on industry trends new raw materials and technologies
- Ensure compliance with ISO and company standards during R&D activities
- Maintain laboratory safety and proper handling of chemicals
- Lead R&D projects to develop new products and improve existing formulations
Job Requirements
- Experience: 4 to 7 years of relevant R&D experience
- Prior experience in a paint/coatings company is highly preferred.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Chemistry / Paint Technology / Chemical Engineering / Polymer Engineering or similar.
- Strong knowledge of paint chemistry and formulation techniques
- Analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Hands-on experience with laboratory instruments and testing equipment
- Good communication and documentation skills
