Job Purpose:
The Head of Sales & Marketing is responsible for leading the company’s commercial growth across all channels—Retail Wholesale direct Online Private and Distributor Management. The role oversees the full commercial cycle: sales strategy pricing brand development marketing execution key account management and channel expansion. The position will drive revenue build brand equity expand market penetration and ensure alignment with company KPIs and strategic initiatives.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Sales Leadership & Revenue Growth
• Lead and manage the Sales & Marketing Department setting clear KPIs and ensuring monthly/annual targets are met.
• Deliver yearly commercial targets across all channels:
o Direct Sales & Online
o Private
o Retail
• Expand national market presence through retail wholesale and B2B channels.
• Develop pricing strategies and SKU realignment for improved competitiveness and margin optimization.
• Strengthen distributor performance and execution through contract management monitoring and monthly reviews.
2. Strategic Planning & Implementation
• Lead strategic initiatives
• Establish standardized pricing mechanisms and SKU architecture.
• Develop forecasting and sales reporting systems for demand planning and performance monitoring.
3. Marketing Strategy & Brand Building
• Develop and execute marketing strategies for all brands across B2B and B2C channels.
• Launch seasonal campaigns (Ramadan Eid corporate gifting).
• Oversee digital marketing content calendars influencer partnerships and paid promotions.
• Ensure brand consistency in packaging messaging and retail visibility.
4. Customer & Key Account Management
• Build strong relationships with major retail groups distributors strategic buyers government entities and private sector clients.
• Negotiate annual agreements visibility contracts promotions and trade deals.
• Oversee corporate sales tenders pricing submissions and government channel requirements.
5. People Management & Cross Functional Leadership
• Build mentor and motivate a high performing Sales & Marketing team.
• Work closely with Production Supply Chain Finance and Operations to ensure product availability and campaign execution.
• Align team KPIs across sales execution channel expansion and marketing performance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in business Marketing or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of FMCG commercial experience with at least 3 years in senior leadership.
• Proven success in revenue delivery brand building and distributor management.
• Strong understanding of retail dynamics promotional planning and FMCG commercial cycles.
• Experience in food industry or perishable goods is an advantage.
• Excellent leadership negotiation and communication skills.
• Strong analytical mindset with hands-on problem-solving capabilities.
• Speaks Arabic & English fluently
