Essential Functions:
- Operates MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images of patients internal structures.
- Prepares patients for MRI procedures by positioning them correctly and administering contrast media as required.
- Monitors patients during MRI scans to ensure their safety and comfort.
- Maintains accurate patient records and ensures that all images are properly labeled and stored.
- Maintains MRI equipment to ensure optimal image quality and patient safety.
- Collaborates with physicians and other healthcare professionals to interpret MRI images and provide accurate diagnoses.
Education Requirement:
Graduate of an accredited educational program for Radiologic Technology required.
Licensure Requirement:
- Active Status with the Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists required.
Certifications:
- Current CPR Certification required.
- ARRT certification (MRI) within 18 months of employment required.
Skills:
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Experience:
- Two years of clinical experience in the Radiologic Sciences required.
- One year of experience in MRI procedures preferred.
- Experience in pediatric setting preferred.

Essential Job Functions:
