Cloud Native Developer-Azure

With your in-depth knowledge of Azure and cloud-native application development you will play both an advisory and executive role as a Cloud Native Developer in our cloud transformation and modernization projects.

You are responsible for converting requirements provided by project managers and architects into an action plan for application teams. You ensure efficiency scalability and security and you make sure that projects comply with the organizations architectural and operational guidelines.

You support application teams in their transition to the cloud throughout the entire cloud application lifecycle. You encourage the use of best practices modern architectures and automated processes and you help resolve any challenges and issues that may arise.

In addition to your advisory role you also hold an active position as an experienced developer and contribute to the development of new cloud applications and features as well as the maintenance and optimization of existing applications.

Responsibilities

Advisory:

• Support and train team members in application development within Azure using DevOps principles CI/CD methodologies and Terraform.

Developer:

• Develop and maintain Terraform IaC to deploy application services in landing zones.
• Set up and manage Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines. This includes both building and application containers to the container registry and deploying Azure services to landing zones using Terraform.
• Develop and maintain Core Blazor applications.
• Monitor and optimize Azure services and containers. Ensure efficiency through automation monitoring and scaling.
• Resolve technical issues related to the applications you manage in Azure Cloud.
• Develop applications within the Azure cloud using the methods and tools mentioned above. This includes:
• Design develop and implement new features
• Perform code reviews and contribute to quality control in the development process.
• Apply standard modules and best practices defined by the Cloud Center of Excellence with an emphasis on efficiency and compliance.
• Maintain and optimize existing applications from an operational and financial perspective.

SKILLS

Advisory:

• Experience in supporting and training (formal or informal) teams.
• Excellent communication skills in both technical and non-technical contexts.

Developer:

• At least 5 years of experience developing cloud-native applications on Azure using Agile methodologies and CI/CD principles with Azure DevOps. An Azure Developer Associate (AZ-204) or Azure Expert-level certification is required.
• At least 1 year of experience in Core Blazor application development.
• Expertise (C# 8.0) and REST API development ( Core Minimal APIs).
• Extensive experience with Terraform and containerization (Docker).
• In-depth knowledge of modern architectures such as microservices serverless SOLID principles CQRS Domain-Driven Design (DDD) Test-Driven Development (TDD) and BehaviourDriven Development (BDD).
• Experience with relevant technologies including SQL SignalR Redis CSS (Bootstrap HTML5) Dapr.

LANGUAGES:

The mother tongue can be Dutch or French and the candidate must have a good oral and written level in the second language (FR or NL).
