This position requires excellent communication skills with a wide variety of stakeholders. The ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with associates and students including the supervision of student employees in the performance of work. The ability to work independently manage multiple projects problem solve and meet deadlines
This position is responsible for duties and services to support the directors and operations of the Military & Veteran Services (M&VS) Office and the New Student Orientation (NSO) Office. The MT orchestrates day-to-day operations of the M&VS center as the office manager and under the leadership of the director is responsible coordination of programing events and the administration of services to students. The MT will also provide administrative support to New Student Orientation (NSO) office. The MT will coordinate financial transactions and spending from all accounts related to M&VS and NSO.
This position will need to maintain records and data; independently analyze internal and external data for various reporting internally and externally including to the VA. Other technical responsibilities of the MT include the maintenance of the share-points sites webpages internal and external information databases and information programs and platforms. For both M&VS and NSO. Once trained the MT will also become the back-up university certifying official.
The MT will also oversee the administration of the VA Work-Study program which includes working with the director to hire train and supervise the VA work-study students.

Minimum Qualifications
- Three years of clerical or para-professional work which included collection recording compilation and presentation of office management or program related information or any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- An associates degree may be substituted for two years of required experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing budgets and fiscal controls effectively.
- Be proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other standard software and online applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Veteran and Military-Affiliated population.
- Experience in higher education is a plus.
- Bachelors Degree
- Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Experience with diverse populations
