The Senior Plant Manager will lead all manufacturing operations for our Sunnyside facility in Bedford PA driving a people first culture and delivering strong performance across safety quality delivery and cost. This role provides both strategic and day to day leadership across assembly and fabrication operations developing frontline leaders while achieving immediate production objectives and long term business goals. The Senior Plant Manager will champion workplace organization daily management systems and continuous improvement while partnering cross functionally to strengthen overall operations and position the facility for sustained success.
YOUR IMPACT
These duties are not meant to be all-inclusive and other duties may be assigned.
Oversee leaders and the plant manufacturing process/daily work flow of a larger facility with roughly 250 employees and setting standards to ensure on-time production and quality objectives are met
Provide guidance and leadership of manufacturing process for multiple production areas or one large facility.
Interact with external customers and segment leadership on a frequent basis.
Design manufacturing objectives and work plans for areas or facility of responsibilities; delegates assignments and ensures accountability for successful completion.
Partner with peers within Operations to strategically select and develop operations talent.
Support the performance management process and executes in regard to supporting career development and growth for team members and leaders.
Provides input to strategic plan: including timelines reports Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communications.
Research and implement the appropriate application of continuous improvement tools and techniques in meeting manufacturing objectives.
Collaborate with Operations leaders on labor planning to ensure proper staffing levels to service the business while effectively managing overhead costs.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree with eight (8) years of relevant experience.
Five (5) or more years of management experience leading and developing others.
STANDOUT QUALIFICATIONS
Proven experience leading a large scale manufacturing facility with full responsibility for safety quality delivery and cost performance
Strong background in operational excellence methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing Six Sigma Value Stream Mapping and structured problem solving
Track record of improving on time delivery productivity and overall equipment effectiveness while reducing waste and cost
Experience leading through change including organizational transformation process improvements and technology implementation
Financial acumen with experience managing operating budgets capital planning and return on investment analysis
Ability to develop and execute strategic manufacturing plans aligned to broader business objectives
Strong talent development mindset with experience building leadership pipelines succession planning and coaching frontline leaders
Experience working directly with customers and senior leadership to resolve complex operational challenges
Data driven decision making skills with the ability to translate key performance indicators into actionable improvement plans
Demonstrated ability to foster cross functional collaboration across Operations Engineering Supply Chain Quality and Human Resources

This position is based in a manufacturing or production environment and may involve exposure to loud noise dust moving machinery or temperature fluctuations.
The role may require standing for extended periods repetitive motions lifting items up to 50 pounds bending kneeling climbing or using tools and equipment.
Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn when required.
Visual and auditory acuity are needed for safe equipment operation and effective communication in a busy workspace.

Pay Range:
$118700.00 - $211300.00The above pay range reflects the minimum and maximum target pay for the position across all U.S. locations. Within this range individual pay is determined by various factors including the scope and responsibilities of the role the candidates experience education and skills as well as the equity of pay among team members in similar positions.
